Wat Pho (Wat Phra Chetuphon) is the oldest temple in Bangkok and predates the founding of the capital. It is only a short distance from the Grand Palace and the temple houses a massive reclining Buddha which was added by Rama III in 1832.
Wat Phra Kaeo (Wat Phra Kaew), is the most important Buddhist temple in Bangkok and it is located in the Grand Palace complex. It houses the most famous Buddha in Thailand, The `Emerald Buddha'.

A look round the Red Garden Food Paradise in Penang, Malaysia

We visited the Singapore Botanic Gardens, Singapore one morning and throughly enjoyed a two hour stroll round the grdens and Orchid house. A stunning selection of trees and flowers are on show and it makes a nice break from exploring the urban landscape of Singapore.
A spent a very pleasant couple of hours exploring the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum in Singapore. It is a vast complex set over 6 levels.
During our short visit to Singapore we ventured into the Lau Pa Sat Festival Market, but due to bad planning on my part we got there at about 10am on A saturday morning. Niether us us being hungry, we only stopped for a drink. A real shame. Next time we visit Singapore, I will make sure to fit in a night visit.

We walked round Marina Bay, Singapore doing the skyline and also the F1 powerboats that where doing warm up laps beofre the main race the next day.
A quick look at the hghlights in Phuket Town, Thailand. This is our first visit to Thailand and we are here for a month, so expect loads more videos of our adventures.
We decided to visit the Giant Buddha that is being built on Phuket Island. It is any easy drive form Phuket Town and the main beaches.
